Para 1958 cambió su nombre a la ‘Milk Race’, en 1987 pasó a llamarse el ‘Kellogg’s Tour’, de 1998 a 1999 ‘Prudential Tour</strong>’ y en <strong>2004 tomó el nombre de Vuelta o Tour de Gran Bretaña con el triunfo del ciclista colombiano Mauricio Ardila,</strong> quien sería el mejor corredor de esa edición y único latino en llegar al podio en 77 años de historia.</p> <p>En lo que a categorías se refiere, el <strong>Tour de Britain</strong> ha pasado por casi todas las categorías de la UCI: d<strong>e 2005 a 2013 fue 2.1 de la, del 2014 al 2019 2.HC y desde 2021 pasó a ser parte de la UCI Proseries 2.Pro.</strong></p> <p>Vale la pena recordar que <strong>la edición 2022 fue una de las más atípicas en la historia de la prueba</strong> ya que la carrera se tuvo que suspender a falta de dos etapas para el final debido a la<strong> muerte de la Reina Isabel II.</strong></p> <h3><strong>Etapas y recorrido del Tour de Britain 2023</strong></h3> <p>Lo primero que tenemos que decir es que<strong> la competencia no solo tendrá un recorrido acumulado de 1271 kilómetros</strong> sino que también tendrá la presencia de <strong>Gonzalo Serrano, ciclista del Movistar Team y campeón en 2022 y de Wout van Aert, campeón en 2021 de la prueba y uno de los mejores ciclista del mundo y del Jumbo Visma.</strong></p> <p><strong>La carrera arrancará este 3 de septiembre en Greater Manchester y</strong> atravesará algunas de las provincias más importantes de Gales y del Reino Unido como <strong>Wrexham, Goole, Beverley, Felixstowe, Harlow, Gloucester,</strong> entre otras.
